In recent years, many couples have opted to host their wedding at their chosen honeymoon resort. At a recent wedding in which my daughter was a bridesmaid celebrated in Jamaica, the newlyweds, their parents, and the bridal party enjoyed taking in the sights, snorkeling and jet skiing. Spa wedding resorts are the perfect setting for dream weddings. Couples who are avid skiers have been known to host wedding receptions at spa destinations near ski runs after reciting their vows at the top of a slope. Friends of ours who fly fish hosted their recent wedding at a mineral spa resort in Colorado situated next to a trout stream. Even if your favorite spa resort doesn’t offer a specific wedding package, spa managers are often happy to work with you in planning your perfect dream wedding.
